What is coming


Has been a while. I am deep into polish, tweaking what needs to be better for next update. Including the level seen in the attached video. But most of the important work left is in AI and enemy behaviour. Like with anything else in this project I am rolling my own approach to it all with focus on making it modular and reusable. There is so much more work that needs to be done in that aspect. To much work still left for AI before next update to give a timeframe. Should be fairly soon unless life gets in the way.

For next update there will be one level in a state of gud'enuff with three enemies with working AI. The goal with both enemies and leveldesign is a specific gameplay. We'll see how far off the mark I will be. Expecting to be on the same continent at least.

In general there is a lot of refactoring and hooking things up that also needs to be done. There is a light in the end of the tunnel though. I can see the end of the major groundwork of all the base modules and once those are in I can get busy on details like effects, gamemode exploration, adding maps and more of the fun stuff.
